Kristen Tull modeling clay on the wheel.
Kristen Tull’s Beginner’s Wheel Class (5 weeks) at the Cascio Clay Center kicked off on November 19, 2025! The Center is at 405 Main Street, Stevensville. The students are learning the basic techniques of the pottery wheel, focusing on throwing cylinder and bowl forms. Students will be shown step-by-step processes of wedging, centering, opening, throwing, trimming and glazing, taking clay from its beginning stage to finished forms. Plan to get your hands dirty! This class is designed for those who have never used the wheel or are working on basic skills. The Center has six wheels for students plus one wheel for the instructor.
